Michael Krüger on Giovanni Segantini - this is the title of the book from which the author will be reading. In this work, published in 2022, Krüger (photo: Peter-Andreas Hassiepen) takes a literary approach to the most famous high mountain painter of his time. He has long loved Segantini's paintings. Here he takes a fresh look at them, discovers details and at the same time tells the story of Segantini's life, who died in 1899 at the age of almost 40.
