Premiere at KiS - Art in Seefeld. The first exhibition is dedicated to the US artist Philip Taaffe.
Large-format ornamental picture worlds in opulent colors pick up partly abstract forms, but also plant and animal motifs. The title of the exhibition refers to Taaffe's work of the same name, which KiS - Kunst in Seefeld is exhibiting.

Great interest in the history of nature and ornamentation
Taaffe, born in 1955, studied at Cooper Union, he lives in New York and in Connecticut. Major exhibitions dedicated to him, among others, Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, Museum of Modern Art in Dublin, IVAM Valencia or the Vienna Secession. His paintings are in many museums, including: MOMA New York, Whitney Museum of American Art New York, The Broad Museum Los Angeles, Albertina Vienna, Museo Nacional Reina Sofía Madrid.
